为帮助大班幼儿顺利过渡到小学阶段的学习,提升幼儿对小学校园的感知度与认识度,近日,华美外国语学校工会主席、招生办主任魏旭涛、小学部教学主任罗娟等教师一行走进光明区中粮云景幼儿园,为幼儿与老师、家长开展“幼小衔接”活动,体验华美小学部IB—PYP课堂的魅力。

首先,华美外国语学校罗娟主任和赵禹昕老师给大班的孩子们上了一节生动有趣的IB—PYP课。 罗主任带着极具亲和力的笑容,在课堂活动中正面鼓励、具体表扬、循循善诱,带领孩子们一起探索、一起发现,深深吸引了孩子们的注意力,会场的所有家长和观摩的老师都被带入到了课堂中。

中粮云景幼儿园曾园长对罗主任的课例展示做总结:罗主任的课堂激发了孩子们的探究欲望,以游戏为主的课堂与幼儿园“无缝衔接”,既调动了孩子们的积极性,又给幼儿们注入了自主学习、合作商讨的概念,润物细无声。

罗主任针对这个问题和家长们分享了“学霸”的特质,主要有以下几点:

1. 注意力培养。

2.海量阅读——为书写准备打基础,让识字过程水到渠成;其次,拼音只是工具,不宜过早学习;最后,前书写准备,例如幼儿园开展的美工活动,涂鸦、绘画等,能锻炼孩子手部肘关节的灵活度,可为以后的书写奠定基础。

3.父母高质量的陪伴。

4.体能储备——身体健康。

5.性格的培养——良好的自我管理。

现场,罗主任对家长们提出的问题与疑虑一一地耐心解答,让家长们明白并理解儿童身心的发展不仅是渐进的,而且是遵循一定顺序的,每个阶段之间是不可逾越、不可颠倒的,前一阶段是后一阶段发展的必要条件。“幼小衔接”教育的学习必须建立在适合儿童心理发展水平的基础上,让幼儿顺利地从经验走向概念,从感性走向理性,从游戏中学习走向课堂中学习。背课文、机械计算、学拼音等内容并不符合儿童的心理发展水平,超前学习小学的知识无异于揠苗助长,弊大于利。

从幼儿园到小学,不是翻山越岭,不是跳跃大沟深壑,也不是进入有天壤之别的生活,而是童年生活的一种自然延伸和过渡。通过此次科学的幼小衔接活动,让幼儿、幼儿的家长和教师有了更进一步的认识,将活动中感悟到的知识内化、反思、提升,并运用到孩子身上,共同营造出有利于幼儿适应小学生活的氛围,循序渐进、因势利导,让幼儿对小学的学习与生活充满兴趣与向往。
